these terms govern your use of the websites and services operated by lessin technology company ("lessin tech co", "we", "us"), including lessintech.co, wlessin.com, molchat.ai, moreorlesspod.com, 1636forum.com, requestclip.com, darkly.chat, photosource.ai, lessinboygames.com, and any related subdomains (each a "service"). by using any service you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use the service.
lessin technology company is a personal umbrella for software, media, and writing projects built by sam lessin. many of these services are experimental side-projects, offered as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, feature stability, or long-term availability.
you must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use any service. some services are invite-only, allowlist-only, or limited to friends and family. we may accept, reject, suspend, or terminate any account for any reason.
don't use any service to: (a) break the law; (b) harass, threaten, defame, or target anyone; (c) transmit malware or probe for vulnerabilities; (d) scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer beyond what's reasonable; (e) send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; or (f) impersonate us or anyone else. we may remove content or block access at our discretion.
you retain ownership of anything you submit (videos, text, photos, messages). you grant lessin tech co a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service. you're responsible for having the rights to submit whatever you submit.
many of our services use third-party ai models (including anthropic claude, openai, elevenlabs, and others). ai output can be wrong, biased, or misleading — don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. content you submit to an ai-powered service may be sent to these third-party providers under their respective terms.
most of our services are free. where a paid feature exists, pricing and refund terms are shown at checkout and control. we may change pricing with reasonable notice.
our services link to third-party sites (slow.co, the information, docsend, twitter, etc.) that we don't control and aren't responsible for. your use of them is governed by their own terms.
the services, their code, branding, design, and original content are owned by lessin tech co (or sam lessin personally) and protected by applicable ip laws. we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the services for their intended personal, non-commercial purpose.
all services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. we do not warrant that any service will be error-free, secure, or continuously operational.
to the maximum extent allowed by law, lessin tech co, sam lessin, and any affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 (one hundred us dollars) or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.
you agree to indemnify and hold harmless lessin tech co from any claim arising out of your use of the services, your content, or your violation of these terms.
we may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including inactivity. you may stop using the services at any time. sections that by their nature should survive termination (ip, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.
we may update these terms from time to time. material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top. continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
these terms are governed by the laws of the state of california, without regard to conflict of law principles. any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in san mateo county, california, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
